Goodbye World!

I guess this blog thing is just going to be one of those really empty, abandoned things because I really don't know what to blog about. Basically I'll just put up whatever I fancy whenever I want so I can get this show on the road.

I'm stuck on all these essays at the moment and all I want to do is anything BUT the essays. I'm drawing, I'm knitting, I'm online shopping and I'm convincing myself that all this is absolutely necessary. And now I'm posting this stuff up.

So I was really getting into doodling a while back and started a whole line of these animal-girl hybrid pictures. They're not really realistic which is a shame (but then again even if they were, they'd be messed-up looking) but I think I only started adding random animal features because I wanted to draw attention away from the abysmally unreal looking sketch of the face and hair.

There's three. I did more but they weren't that great anyway. I really want to try watercolour next but I just don't think I have that much motivation just yet. I'd have to look up how to do all those techniques on youtube and it'll take a while to get the hang of. It's not like I'll draw on a daily basis either. So those dated back to a few months ago I think - or longer. I bought a little A6 sketch book because I thought the size was cute and I've drawn some in it too. It's funny because it's supposed to be drawn on with pencil and all but it's so much fun to draw in pen and I like the lines more.

Yeah, I guess it's going to be THAT kind of blog now. So there's a few different styles. Or it could just be different variations of one style. Or you probably can't even tell the difference. But to me, my drawing style varies a bit every time.

I wanted to put some nice photos of polaroids up but I recently lost my phone so they're all gone. Well, things happen. Life goes on.

Oh yeah, I made a Finn the Human ages and ages ago but I never really finished him. I wanted to make a pattern for a mini Finn because the one I have is giant. And I don't know, maybe I could distribute them around to all the Adventure Time lovers out there. Maybe make a mini version of all the characters if I'm bothered. I think I can do it. The pattern I used to make big Finn isn't mine though but I've also forgotten who made it. It was a free pattern anyhow so I don't think that's too much of a big deal.

Isn't he cute? I love him to bits. And yeah he's missing a sock on his right leg. But eh. Oh and I made some of these things too. I think they're birds.

I think if I made a lot, and just stuck them everywhere on tree branches, they'd look really pretty. But no-ones got time for that stuff so I'll scrap the idea. Anyone out there wanting to do that, go right on ahead. The pattern for the birds are free from Mochimochi Land. Here's a link:

In my late hours of procrastination today, I've been looking at just a whole lot of random stuff and now I really want to get a cross-stitch kit and start cross-stitching forever. I want to just sit at home all day and all night and cross-stitch. I'll start a piece of it soon and put up some pictures of my progress like these other bloggers do. I found a whole bunch of bloggers who cross-stitch and do all other sorts of things and now I really want to do that too so we'll see how that goes. I mean look at these.

I mean, they're so pretty! I want to own them! Okay. I'm going to do it. I'm going to cross-stitch. Goodbye social life. Goodbye studies. Goodbye work.
(Goodbye money)
